Helen McDonald and Paula David Untold Stories Black Lives in Britsh History, Discover Children’s Centre

This Black History Month, join storytellers Helen McDonald and Paula David as they tell the stories of black people and their presence in British history. From Tudor England to the Windrush, from World War I to Notting Hill Carnival, from Victorian models to those living now. Composers; divers; doctors and designers. Inventors and presenters. See them brought to life with their storytelling and songs.

This project has been funded by and is part of the World Reimagined. A UK-wide art education project that works to transform our understanding of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its impact on all of us to help us make racial justice a reality.
