Tarrus Riley, one of the most important voices in modern reggae, will perform in London for one night only on Jamaica Independence weekend – Sunday 2 August at Electric Brixton alongside legendary saxophonist Dean Fraser and the Blak Soil Band  with UK  support from Christopher Ellis, son of Alton Ellis.

Tarrus Riley, renowned as one of reggae’s most electrifying and soulful voices, is set to light up Electric Brixton with an exclusive and unforgettable live performance. Celebrated for timeless hits such as the much-loved She’s Royal and a catalogue packed with conscious anthems and lovers rock classics, with award-winning albums such as Contagious and a catalogue that includes Mecoustic, To The Limit, Love Situation, and Healing, Riley has built a global following through powerful recordings and dynamic live performances. Beyond music, he is also recognised for his humanitarian work and commitment to positive social change. Tarrus delivers pure musical magic every time he steps on stage. Born in the Bronx and raised in Jamaica, Tarrus Riley is the son of legendary reggae artist Jimmy Riley. Influenced by his heritage, he developed a sound rooted in themes of love, social justice, and Rastafarian spirituality.
