Adrian Lester reprises his role as Cyrano alongside Susannah Fielding as Roxane. Director Simon Evans co-adapts this thrilling new version with Debris Stevenson.
Wessex Grove, Gavin Kalin Productions and Royal Shakespeare Company have announced that Cyrano de Bergerac will transfer to the Noël Coward Theatre, a Delfont Mackintosh Theatre, from 13 June – 5 September 2026 following an acclaimed run at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon last year. Director Simon Evans (Staged, BBC), co-adapts with Debris Stevenson (Poet in Da Corner, Royal Court), bringing new life to Edmond Rostand’s lyrical tale of love and lies, longing and disguise. Olivier Award-winning actor Adrian Lester (Company, Donmar Warehouse/ West End; Othello, National Theatre; Hustle, BBC) will reprise his celebrated performance as Cyrano alongside Susannah Fielding (This Time with Alan Partridge, BBC; The Merchant of Venice, RSC; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bridge Theatre) as Roxanne, with further casting to be announced.

This fresh take on the classic is packed with the joyful lyricism of Simon and the amazing Debris Stevenson, whose poetry completely reinvented our approach to this classic.
