A brand new season of 10 Black British performance poets digging deep into their craft, reflecting on identity and legacy, hosted by Yomi Ṣode.
Apples and Snakes: The Podcast is a series of unfiltered conversations digging deep into all things performance poetry and what it means to feel, connect, and speak truth to power. For the first time, Season 4 will be streamed on YouTube alongside its audio release. Hosted by writer and curator Yomi Ṣode, ten outstanding Black British poets are invited to discuss craft and context in performance poetry. The series launches on Tuesday, 21 October with Kareem Parkins Brown, and a new episode will be released each week up to Christmas. Apples and Snakes: The Podcast is an Apples and Snakes production.
