About Jack and the Beanstalk
The beloved Lyric Hammersmith Theatre pantomime returns this festive season with Jack and the Beanstalk which plays at the venue from Saturday 15 November 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026. The production continues the Lyric’s long history of bringing some of the finest and most entertaining pantomimes to West London. Jack and the Beanstalk will once again unite the critically acclaimed partnership of writer Sonia Jalaly and director Nicholai La Barrie, the team behind last year’s smash-hit Aladdin. Join loveable hero Jack as he embarks on a mission of gigantic proportions, way into the clouds, to defeat his newfound nemesis and save the people of Hammersmith.
About Joey James (Jack)
Joey James will play the title role of Jack, he is a London-based actor, vocalist, and all-round entertainer. He recently completed a celebrated run in the West End production of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical. Prior to that, Joey toured the UK and Europe in Whitney – Queen of the Night and played the role of Michael Jackson in Thriller Live (Lyric Theatre & UK Tour).
A finalist on The X Factor with Rough Copy, Joey has also supported artists such as Emeli Sandé, Jason Derulo, and Jessie J, performing at iconic venues including Indigo at The O2.
