The story glorifies the hunter until the Lioness speaks.

Through poetry, movement and song, Pid’or and Dominica embody and celebrate the strength and activism of Congolese women and all women fighting for visibility, justice and transformation. Inspired by Pauline Opango Lumumba, Esther Atosha and Julienne Lusenge, it affirms the Congolese woman’s refusal to be diminished.

We reject narratives of victimhood; we are the heroines shaping our own stories. For every silenced woman, we stand as mirrors. Together, we rise.
