A unique shopping event that brings together exhibitors offering affordable cultural gifts you won't find on the shelves of local high street shops or department stores.
Our exhibitors will be selling a variety of unique, cultural gifts including: children’s toys; books for all ages; hair and beauty products many of which will have been naturally/organically produced; jewellery and accessories; art, greeting cards; clothing for men, children and women; and seasonal food and drink.
This year we are raising funds for the Sickle Society with a third of proceeds taken on the door at each event going to the charity – as usual expect plenty of raffle prizes.
Highlights for Birmingham include a head-wrapping workshop by Sister E and two performances from Abigail Kelly Soprano.
Shoppers can also sample some Afridiziak rum cake as they take in the vibes and tunes from DJs Blaze it Up Entertainment.
Highlights for London include a performance from Gospel Essence Choir.

This is the first year we are supporting this charity. We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to individuals and organisations who have generously donated items to our charity raffle and to our shoppers for helping us raise funds for the Sickle Cell Society.
As part of the £3 admission to the Afridiziak Gifts and Occasions Winter Fair, £1 will be donated to the Sickle Cell Society – this is the equivalent of a raffle ticket. Raffle tickets will also be sold during the day for £1 and the prize draw announced at 4pm at each event.
The Sickle Cell Society believes that individuals suffering from sickle cell disease has the right to quality care. This can only be achieved if funding is made available to educate health carers and other professionals about the condition. The Society aims to provide this. The Society does not discriminate between the types of sickle cell disorders or the ethnic groups concerned. Both sexes are equally affected, and should have equal access to support and services within a confidential and sensitive environment.
