Manz Like Me is the first season of new writing in Talawa’s series, Flipping the Script; the first regular showcase of play readings presented by Britain’s foremost Black led Theatre Company at the Young Vic.
The four plays featured in Manz Like Me explore the modern Black man. Written by Black men, the four works move beyond the stereotypes and through examining different experiences, focus on other aspects of what it is to be a Black man today.
