A new play, Catalysta, written by veteran Grenadian actor and playwright Allister Bain and directed by Robert Icke, runs from 21 October to 8 November (press night 23 October). Catalysta travels from London to Grenada several months after Hurricane Ivan to visit her elderly sister Eartha and her husband.
They share their home with their daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. But when Catalysta arrives, the family battles she finds raging threaten to wreak more havoc than the hurricane itself, as neither mother can change their pattern of destructive behaviour and Catalysta is left to quell the storm.
