Felix Dexter Benefit Concert
On Saturday, June 28th the African Caribbean Performers Alliance in association with the African-Caribbean community pays homage to one of its very finest. Artists from the world of television, music and comedy come together to celebrate the life of the late great Felix Dexter who sadly died in October 2013. Felix was a much loved and respected performer who was taken away from us at such an early stage.
A tribute concert has been organised in conjunction with the Felix Dexter Charity and Memorial Foundation, so that the African Caribbean community can pay direct homage to Felix. A number of well established performers from within the African-Caribbean community from the worlds of radio, television, music and comedy have come together for the first time and all agreeing to donate their time for this special cause. All monies raised from this event will go the Dexter family and Felix’s nominated charity.
The artists performing include: Aswad; Janet Kay; Carroll Thompson; Matumbi; Vivian Jones; Don E; Loose Ends; Arema; Junior Giscombe; Angie Le Mar; Ava Vidal; Leo Mohammed; Eddie Kadi; Jefferson & Whitfield; Wayne Dibbi Rollins; Miles Crawford an Geoff Schumann with more acts to be confirmed.
All of this will be in the presence of the Dexter family.
