Talawa Young People’s Theatre (TYPT) is an annual summer school that has been running for the past 14 years, and presents a remarkable opportunity for young people to work with Britain’s foremost Black theatre company. This year’s 12 talented participants have been working with north London based krump teacher Kymberlee Jay (Krump Junkies), multi award-winning turntablist DJ Matman, and director Amani Naphtali to produce Krunch, a fusion of music, movement, spoken word and film that represents the changing face of London.
