20109 Change - Be a part of the Change

"And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can." Barack Obama

To celebrate the historic inauguration of Barack Obama as 44th President of the United States of America, the IBBAMO Trust will be hosting one of the largest events of its kind in the world, 20109. The event will celebrate the hope and strength the world will take from this most important moment of our generation. 20th January 2009 will forever be remembered as a great day in history for change and will signify the potential of any single person to achieve their dreams and we want you to be part of this movement.

Hosted by the hilarious award winning comedian Eddie Kadi and musician Patrick Alan, who will also be performing with his band Music Box Live. In addition they will be joined on stage by a variety of special guests. Confirmed artists performing on this historic night, include our special guest star, Lemar, current chart toppers, N-Dubz, 2008 MOBO award winner for Best Jazz Act, YolanDa Brown, North London's finest and multi-talented singer, Natty and the uplifting London Community Gospel Choir.

As well as this, DJ's on the night include, the Top 5 chart star Ironik and BBC 1Xtra's Twin B. 20109 Change will commence the evening with a video link to Washington D.C showing the historic event live and other worldwide celebrations. The event will be covered and featured by the BBC to show the world how London will be celebrating this historic event. 20109 Change will make sure that everyone will have immediate and identifiable association to one of the biggest worldwide celebrations of hope and the change for a better tomorrow.

Proceeds from the evening will be donated towards the humanitarian crisis in Zimbabwe to combat a growing cholera outbreak, the African – Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) and support the charitable work of the IBBAMO Trust. Our greatest hope however, is to inspire individuals to always strive for better change and to assist them for a greater tomorrow.
