See highlights from some of their best-loved ballets by Richard Alston, Antonia Franceschi and Will Tuckett, all to live music, enjoy some festive singing from Fever Pitch and have the opportunity to meet the dancers and artistic staff behind Ballet Black over a glass of wine and canapés. It just wouldn't be a Ballet Black night without a world premiere, so we've got one of those too - rising choreographic star Christopher Marney will be unveiling his brand new pas de deux, danced by Chantelle Gotobed and Jade Hale-Christofi.
For those who can't make it to the fundraiser: work is already well underway for our Linbury season at the Royal Opera House in March 2010, where they will debut world premieres by Christopher Hampson, Robert Hylton, Henri Oguike and our own Chief Ballet Master, Raymond Chai.
The Ballet Black Fundraiser takes place at The Royal Opera House on 17 December, 7-8.30pm.
