Into the Hoods wins Theatregoers' Choice Award Wednesday, 18 February, 2009
Into the Hoods at the Novello Theatre wins the Ambassador Tickets Best Ensemble Performance award at the Theatregoers' Choice Awards with 22.9 per cent of the vote. Chiwetel Ejiofor came third in the Spotlight Best Actor in a Play award for his lead in Othello at the Donmar Warehouse. He got 16.5 per cent of the vote.
The winners were announced on Sunday 15 February in the ninth annual Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards, the only major theatre prize-giving decided by the public.
