King Lear: The Film Announces Christmas Day Television Broadcast

Family Feuds, backstabbing brothers, two sisters fighting over the same man and a kingdom divided; King Lear: The Film will bring a different kind of drama to Christmas on the BBC. The award nominated, epic stage-to-screen production, has announced a television broadcast on BBC Four at 7pm on Christmas Day 2016.


The outstanding cast also includes Fraser Ayres, Rakie Ayola, Rhys Bevan, Norman Bowman, Thomas Coombes, Sam Glen, Wil Johnson, Debbie Korley, Pepter Lunkuse, Miles Mitchell, Mark Springer and Sarah Quist.


Certificate 12A this film will be of interest to Shakespeare students, diverse community groups and the wider public.
