If you love spotting new talent and watching exciting, energised performances then ‘The Big House’ needs to be on your radar. This charity provides a platform for young social care leavers who are at high risk of social exclusion, to gain skills and confidence in participating in the making of theatre and have their voices heard. They offer counselling, long-term mentoring, training and workshops for young people to unleash their creativity and build confidence whilst participating in theatre and film.

This is the second play I have seen from these guys and it’s so exciting to see such original storytelling with fresh relatable storylines performed by amazing raw talent.

Cashmoney Now by James Fritz is a highly entertaining tale of two sisters down on their luck. The younger one, desperate to contribute to their finances is conned by an Internet scammer and the play is all about how her older sister hatches a plan to get revenge and justice. Their quest leads them into the murky world of the dark web and they encounter con men, sugar daddies, hackers, cryptocurrency and irresistible temptation. This is the second play I have seen from these guys and it’s so exciting to see such original storytelling with fresh relatable storylines performed by amazing raw talent.

For sensitive souls, I should warn you that there’s some colourful language used at times – but it works. If there’s one play to put on your ‘must-see’ list this season, this is it. GO SEE IT! It’s an original, well-written, well-acted and hilarious production, I promise you, you won’t be disappointed… it’s so so so so so Good!
