While at studying, Annie wrote for the University of Leeds online and print publication, ‘The Gryphon’, focusing her writing on reviewing theatre and gigs.
She developed an in depth knowledge of theatre when studying English Literature and Theatre Studies, independently writing, designing and directing her own theatre during her degree, as well as studying practioners.
In 2017 she was funded to participate in a 2 week long creative arts project, The Complete Freedom of Truth in Italy, collaborating with artists, activists and facilitators from Europe.
She maximised funding by writing about her experience which was published on the T.C.F.T website, social media sites and her own blog, creativefro.word.press.com
Since graduating in July 2017 she has reviewed and had work published on the Alfred Fagon Award Website.

It gives me great pleasure to be part of a team that promotes African Caribbean artistic talent in the UK. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to experience and review the amazing theatre that is being produced.
